Blackberry. Spice. Structured.

Named after our grandson Jack Harrison, who lives on the vineyard and is training to become our future winemaker and viticulturist, this wine represents both legacy and the future of Brockenchack.

Crafted from our cool-climate, single-vineyard Eden Valley Shiraz, the fruit is sourced from vines averaging 60 years of age, delivering natural concentration, structure and depth. This is a premium Shiraz shaped by time, place and careful stewardship.

The wine opens with lifted aromas of ripe black berries, framed by precise French oak. Savoury nuances of black olive and spice box add intrigue as the wine evolves in the glass. Deep ruby in colour, it signals the intensity and richness that follows.

On the palate, waves of dense blackberry and plum roll through with authority, layered with brambleberry, soft mocha and a dusting of white pepper. Fine French oak structure and ripe tannins carry the wine through to a long, confident, bone-dry finish.

While early estimates suggest this wine will continue to reward careful cellaring through to 2033 and beyond, gentle decanting allows it to be enjoyed beautifully now.
