Named after our youngest granddaughter, Charli Jaye, this Eden Valley Chardonnay reflects our long-held philosophy of elegance, restraint, and balance. From the outset, the intention was clear — to craft a sophisticated cool-climate Chardonnay that favours finesse over excess.

Sourced from a single vineyard in the Eden Valley, this wine is shaped by the region’s cooler conditions and careful oak maturation. Fruit from vines planted in 2012 delivers purity and precision, while extended time in French oak adds depth and texture without overpowering the natural freshness.

Aromatically expressive yet composed, the wine opens with classic Eden Valley characters of apple and pear, layered with subtle tropical notes. On the palate, concentrated fresh pear flavours meet gently toasty oak, flowing through to a long, lean, and beautifully dry finish.

An elegant Chardonnay with structure and restraint — equally suited to immediate enjoyment or thoughtful pairing at the table.
